2017 UEDA Executive Economic Development Education Course
Monday July 24, 2017, 9 am – 12 noon
Downtown Columbus Hilton Hotel, Columbus, OH
Fundamentals of Industrial Project Management
Many UEDA members are involved in large complicated new developments, and they stay involved at a high level in these projects once they become official and enter the normal utility engineering and service connection process. In this special executive education course, you will gain a general understanding of the project management philosophy and process in order to be a more effective member of the service delivery team.
This course will be taught by an experienced project management expert who has worked extensively with AEP and other electric and gas utilities on major projects. He has a broad understanding of the topic as well as an in-depth knowledge of electric and gas utilities and their requirements.
This course will be recognized by the International Economic Development Council (IEDC) as professional development training during the 2017 UEDA Summer Forum, and it will count towards recertification of Certified Economic Developers (CEcD). Since the course is optional and not part of the conference general session itself, an additional donation of $395 to cover costs will be required to participate.
Instructor: Jim Krebs, Senior Vice President, Administrative Controls Management, Inc., Ann Arbor, Michigan.
More information on this course will be available soon.
